Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information cheviszhou.com ("this site") collects, how it is used, and your choices. This site is a personal portfolio operated by Chevis Zhou and does not require an account, accept payments, or run an e-commerce checkout.

The contact form on the About page collects the name, email address, and message you choose to submit. That information is used for a single purpose: to read your message and reply to you. It is delivered to me by email (via Resend, an email delivery service) and is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a marketing list.

Standard web server and hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) may be recorded automatically by the hosting provider for security and reliability purposes, as is standard for any website.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from a person rather than an automated bot. Turnstile may process limited technical signals from your browser to make that determination. It is a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and is used here only to protect the form from abuse.

This site does not use cookies or third-party analytics for tracking or advertising. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to disclose what is collected and why.

This site links out to third-party destinations (e.g. a résumé, GitHub, LinkedIn, or client project sites). Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
